Chang-Seok Shin received a fellowship from Applied Materials (2002).

Chris Rodenbeck received a fellowship from the State of Texas to "advance the state of the art in telecommunications" (2002), a NASA Texas Space Grant Graduate Fellowship (2002-2004), a TxTEC Graduate Scholarship (2001), and a Texas A&M Graduate Merit Fellowship (1999).

Jarret Guill was named Teaching Assistant of the Year by the Department of Electrical Engineering (1998).

Matt Coutant received a fellowship from the Texas A&M Department of Electrical Engineering (1998).

Jarret Guill received an 18-month fellowship from Raytheon TI Systems (1998).

Arild Kolsrud received a Thanks To Scandinavia Cash Award in competition with researchers and graduate students from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. The award was presented in New York City by Mr. Victor Borge (1997). He also received an Academic Excellence Award from Texas A&M University (1997).

Paola Zepeda received a Forsyth Graduate Fellowship from the College of Engineering (1997).

Brad Heimer received an 18-month Texas Instruments Fellowship (1996).
